Greetings!
My name is Nathan Little and I’m here to make music! Although I’ve had my hand in the creative aspect of music since 2008, I’ve loved music before I even knew it. I remember, as a child, I would stay through the end credits of films such as Star Wars and Disney’s Dinosaur to role-play to the sound of the music. It wasn’t until I borrowed from the library a soundtrack by the incredible Hans Zimmer that I realized that this was the kind of sound I loved beyond all others — the sound of music in one of its purest forms — the orchestra. Since then, I’ve taught myself piano and taken up cello as a primary instrument to try to recreate that magic I fell in love with — but most importantly, I began to write music of my own.
I wrote for several short films, commercial ads, and received awards for Best Original Music in a small film festival before deciding to further my education at Samford University in 2014 and graduated in 2019. There, I studied under Dr. Mark Lackey who helped me focus my compositional skills as well as be recognized for a number of other musical achievements.
I am so thankful for the opportunities God has granted me and am very excited to see what the future holds!
